Tenneco (NYSE:TEN), through its recently acquired Federal-Mogul Powertrain division, is supplying engine technologies for nine of Wards 10 Best Engines for 2019 model year vehicles. Since the inception of the Wards 10 Best Engines competition 25 years ago, Federal-Mogul Powertrain has designed and manufactured leading technologies for many of the engines recognized each year as the “10 Best.”
On October 1, 2018, Tenneco completed the acquisition of Federal-Mogul, a leading global supplier to original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket. Additionally, the company expects to separate its businesses to form two new, independent companies, an Aftermarket and Ride Performance company as well as a new Powertrain Technology company, in late 2019.
“We congratulate our customers on being named a Wards 10 Best Engine,” said Rainer Jueckstock, executive vice president, Tenneco Powertrain Division. “We are very proud to supply advanced engine technologies and products that power such a diverse set of engines.”

All new or significantly improved powertrains, as well as last year’s ten returning winners were eligible. Vehicles must have a base price no higher than $64,000. The winning automakers are honored at a WardsAuto ceremony in Detroit during the North American International Auto Show.
